The non-diagnosis of new positive cases of Covid 19 allows a favorable evaluation of the epidemiological situation in the municipality of Calixto Garcia, according to the analysis carried out by the members of the Permanent Working Group, led by the highest leaderships of the Party and the Government in the territory.
According to Dr. Boris Alonso Pupo, director of the Hygiene and Epidemiology Unit in the municipality, only the Cabezuela and Janata outbreaks are still active while waiting for the results of the second diagnosis through the PCR test.
The people who are in isolation in the pioneer camp are waiting for the second diagnosis, the results of which will define whether the center remains open or not, while 11 travelers from abroad who are under isolation protocol are under observation.
The immediacy in the application of the epidemiological control measures allows to evaluate favorable results in the confrontation of Covid 19, which determined to stop the possible chain of transmission, a situation that should not affect the loss of the perception of risk in the face of the resurgence presented in neighboring municipalities.
