The collective of the equestrian center Rancho Mexico doesn't stop their activities, even in times of Covid 19, betting on the preparation of the young riders and in the attention to the showy steeds assigned to the competitions.

In this installation, located in Cruce de Mir, it keeps the training of children and young people, following the sanitary measures, with a view to future events when the sanitary situation allows it, aspects about which Alfredo Hipólito, equestrian trainer, referred to.  

Yunia Garayalde González is coordinator of the Los Itabos Television Room, in the municipality of Calixto García in the province of Holguín, a program of the Revolution that celebrates its 20th anniversary on March 29, an idea of the greatest leader of the Revolution, Fidel Castro.

"When I think of these twenty years I cannot help but evoke Fidel, who has been the driving force behind this wonderful program that is today in the peasant neighborhoods. I feel very proud to be a founder and to belong to it."

Core issues of the youth organization to continue strengthening the work were analyzed in the Municipal Bureau of the Young Communist League (UJC) with an eye to the issues that today demand a different action to further add the youth to the tasks of the moment.

The preparation of officials and leaders to persuade and reach the base with the right message, the ways to strengthen the attention to young women, among others, occupied a good part of the reflections at a time when the United States government is stepping up its subversion policy.

Special mention was made of the work of young people in the red zone, the work of members of the José Martí art instructors brigade and the work of the Hermanos Saíz Association in times of pandemic.

Among the praises, the willingness to continue contributing in the first trench was also reaffirmed.

This was made known by Gretel Silva, an official of the UJC, who said she was proud of the tribute given by her colleagues as a stimulus to her work. "This recognition is also for all the young people of the people's council of Mir, real protagonists of the work of the organization. That is why in the coming days the same will be extended, which is also a new commitment to continue towards new victories."

The UJC Municipal Bureau was attended by Jesús Evio González Guerra, official of the UJC National Committee and Yanelis Rodríguez Paneque, First Secretary of the youth organization in the province.

The non-diagnosis of new positive cases of Covid 19 allows a favorable evaluation of the epidemiological situation in the municipality of Calixto Garcia, according to the analysis carried out by the members of the Permanent Working Group, led by the highest leaderships of the Party and the Government in the territory.

According to Dr. Boris Alonso Pupo, director of the Hygiene and Epidemiology Unit in the municipality, only the Cabezuela and Janata outbreaks are still active while waiting for the results of the second diagnosis through the PCR test.
